The Role – Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the English, Maths, and Science departments. You will work closely with teachers to help raise attainment, build student confidence, and ensure all pupils receive the academic support they need.

Key responsibilities include: - Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students across KS3 and KS4 in core subjects.
  • Assisting with lesson planning, resource creation, and classroom organisation.
  • Supporting pupils with GCSE preparation, particularly those aiming for top grades or needing additional help.
  • Working alongside SEN and EAL staff to tailor support for individual learners.
  • Encouraging student engagement, motivation, and participation both in and outside the classroom.
