KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative for our client based in Winsford.

As a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative your working days and hours are:

• Monday to Thursday 
• 6am - 6pm 
• 6pm - 6am 
• Moving on to rotating shifts, once trained. 
• Occasional overtime available on Fridays. 

The rate of pay is:

• £12.50 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative are:

• Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to load and move pallets and recyclable materials.
• Work on the shop floor and on the FLT to sort through recyclable products, including plastics and general materials.
• Feed plastic wrap into recycling machinery.
• Use a scanner to detect metal items in materials, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Carry out handballing duties as required (manual handling and sorting of materials by hand).
• Work both indoors and outdoors, supporting general site operations in all weather conditions.

The ideal candidate for a FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative would need:

• Valid and in-date FLT license (Counterbalance or Reach, as required).
• Previous experience in a recycling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and working in an active environment.
• Willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
