Allied Universal have the pleasure to be recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced CCTV operator to work at a construction site in central London for a well known company.

Your Time at Work

Position: CCTV operator
Location: Central London
Pay Rate: £16.90 per hour
Hours: Full time permanent 42 hours a week on average
Shifts: Days, Nights and Weekends - flexibility required

CCTV licence essential, DS or SG desirable.

As a CCTV operator you will be required to carry out 24/7 duties in a busy environment, which includes computer use and several clerical duties in addition to general security tasks.

Your duties include:

- Monitoring CCTV in a busy control room
- Monitoring and controlling access to the site.
- Providing clear and timely communication to security officers
- Monitor and allocate officer attendance to fire alarm activations.
- Reporting and monitoring incidents.
- Maintaining contact with security officers on patrol.
- Immediate reporting of faults with the CCTV or fire alarm systems.
- Reporting any security events and dealing with emergency situations, including initial alerts and evacuations in accordance with site procedures

It is crucial to have great communication and customer service skills. All our admin is digital and paperless, so you'll need to be tech-savvy enough to use our digital devices.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
