An award-winning consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. If you have the drive to lead high-impact projects, work with innovative teams, and deliver sustainable solutions, this is the role for you. We're looking for someone who is passionate about design excellence, mentoring junior engineers, and making a lasting difference in the built environment.

Role Overview:


As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead projects from start to finish, collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and engineering teams to deliver outstanding solutions. You'll mentor and support junior engineers, develop sustainable design strategies, and ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:


·Lead and oversee the structural design and analysis of projects, ensuring quality and safety.
·Collaborate with other disciplines and clients to meet project requirements and goals.
·Manage project delivery, including overseeing timelines, budgets, and resources.
·Conduct structural assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses.
·Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their professional growth.
·Contribute to the development of sustainable design practices, with a focus on reducing the carbon footprint of projects.
·Attend site visits to monitor progress and resolve engineering challenges in real-time.
·Develop detailed technical reports, design calculations, and drawings.

Key Skills & Experience:


·Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with the IStructE or ICE.
·Extensive experience in structural design, including both new-build and reuse projects.
·Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or Tekla.
·A passion for sustainable design and reducing environmental impact.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and liaise with clients.
·A proactive approach, eager to solve problems and deliver high-quality solutions.
