Graduate Science Academic Mentor | Role Overview

• Full-time, long-term position starting September 2025
• Science graduates required with a 1st or 2:1 degree – Chemistry, Biology, or Physics specialisms welcome
• Based near Wallasey with excellent transport links across the Wirral and into Liverpool
• Fantastic experience for aspiring science teachers
• Opportunity to progress to salaried teacher training from September 2026
• Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:45pm
• Competitive pay: £520–£550 per week
• Work closely with students who need targeted support to achieve exam success

About the Role
As a Graduate Science Academic Mentor, you’ll be an integral part of the school’s dynamic Science department, delivering tailored support to students in both 1:1 and small group settings. You’ll assist with lessons, help prepare engaging practical activities, and guide students through challenging concepts to build their confidence and understanding.

This school’s approach to Science is all about active learning — from hands-on experiments in class to field trips and real-world applications that bring the subject to life. With outstanding facilities and resources, you’ll be able to see your subject in action every day.
