Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Days | FMCG Manufacturing | Aberdeen

The Company
A leading FOOD/FMCG manufacturer, is seeking several Multi-Skilled Engineers to join their expanding Engineering Team. You'll play a key role in supporting both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of complex, automated cooking and packaging systems.

The Role - Multi-Skilled Engineer (Day Shift)

  • Shift Pattern: 12-hour Day shifts
  • Salary: 46 to 48k

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering effective mechanical and electrical maintenance support across all production areas
  • Executing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reacting quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs, machine strip-downs
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects
  • Collaborating with production and planning teams to ensure optimal equipment availability

Requirements:

  • FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Engineering qualification (electrical/mechanical/multi-skilled)
  • CMMS or other maintenance software
  • Skilled in full machine strip-down and rebuild of Equipment
  • Health & Safety, GMP, and engineering best practice
