Quality Inspector - Fabrication

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in steel fabrication and a keen eye for detail? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of shelters and street furniture who are looking to strengthen their quality team at their Stoke-on-Trent facility.

The Role:

As Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of quality across both standard and bespoke shelter products. This includes:

• Conducting 100% inspections: visual, patrol, and first-off
• Performing dimensional measurements against engineering drawings
• Recording and compiling internal part approval packs
• Reviewing in-house bespoke projects to identify potential issues pre-production
• Capturing quality issues at source to reduce business impact
• Supporting fabrication teams with drawing/BOM/process queries

What We're Looking For:

• Essential:
• Solid understanding of mild and stainless steel fabrication
• Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Clear and factual communication skills across teams
• Desirable:
• Experience in weld inspection, including dye penetrant testing
