Graduate Unqualified Primary Teacher: Candidate Specification

We are on the hunt to find a Graduate Unqualified Primary Teacher who holds:

• A 1st or 2:1 degree in Education, Child Psychology, STEM or a related subject
• Strong Academic history in A-levels and GCSE’s especially in Maths and English
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, HLTA, or similar in a primary school
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom presence
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners
• The drive to become a fully qualified teacher

Graduate Unqualified Primary Teacher: Role Responsibilities

As a Graduate Unqualified Primary Teacher, you’ll take the lead in a Year 2 or Year 3 classroom, supported by a class TA and senior staff. You’ll:

• Design and deliver engaging, imaginative, and inclusive lessons
• Adapt learning to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and backgrounds
• Use strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive, focused classroom
• Track progress, give feedback, and support pupils to reach their full potential
• Manage your time and planning effectively, keeping lessons fresh and purposeful
• As a Graduate unqualified Primary Teacher you will begin your journey towards full QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) next September!
