Summer Job Opportunity: Kitchen Porter – Northumberland 🌟

We’re currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter for the summer season in stunning Northumberland, just an hour from the Scottish border. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy nature, starry skies, and a relaxed rural lifestyle – all while gaining experience in a busy Bar/Restaurant environment. Work beginning as soon as possible until the end of September/October with a possibility to transfer to a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment

• Keep food preparation areas clean and sanitized

• Assist chefs with basic food prep tasks (e.g. peeling, chopping, portioning)

• Ensure waste is properly sorted and disposed of

• Replenish stock of clean dishes, cutlery, and kitchen tools

• Help with unloading and storing food deliveries

• Clean floors, surfaces, and equipment at the start and end of shifts

• Follow all health & safety and food hygiene regulations

• Support the wider kitchen team as needed during busy service times

📍 Location: Northumberland (agency contract)
💷 Pay: £12.75 per hour (PAYE), paid weekly
🕒 Hours: Approx. 40–45 hours per week
