A high-achieving secondary school in Rugby is seeking a Graduate English Teaching Assistant to support their English department. This long-term role is ideal for a graduate who’s enthusiastic about literature and eager to make a difference in young lives.

Graduate English Teaching Assistant – Why You Should Apply:

Graduate English Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting English lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Delivering targeted intervention and support to individuals and small groups
  • Encouraging literacy development and enthusiasm for literature
  • Supporting classroom engagement and positive behaviour
  • Assisting in school-wide literacy initiatives and extracurricular programs

Graduate English Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 or above in English, English Literature, or a related subject
  • A love for reading, language, and sharing ideas
  • Experience working with young people is a bonus but not essential
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • A collaborative and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
  • Ambition to pursue a career in education or youth work
