The School and Role  

The school is based in BL3 area of Bolton, pretty central to all transport links. As a school you will be part of a multi-academy trust. Based in Year 5 with a class size of 28 pupils, you will be confident to take interventions in small groups as directed by the Teacher.

This role is for a L2 Teaching Assistant that has worked within KS2, you will be confident breaking down, adapting and teaching subjects matters clearly, using the right terminology.

Requirements

The requested skillset the desired Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 2 (KS2) role you will require to demonstrate;

• passion and empathy for children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Motivation and able to establish good working relationships with pupils and colleagues, acting as a role model.
• A commitment to working in partnership with parents and their support networks.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge, skills and experience of working with children with specific SEND needs
• Proactive and can work with individual children and small groups, both inside and outside the classroom
• Able to demonstrate understanding of Key Stage 2.
