Job Title: Senior Piping Designer – SP3D/E3D

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Contract Type: 6-Month Secondment (Extendable Based on Project Needs)

Work Conditions:

• Work Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off, 9 hours per day

• Status: Single (family may relocate at personal cost)

Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas (onshore/offshore facilities)

• At least 7 years of experience working in a 3D environment using PDMS or SP3D

• Proficient in E3D, SP3D, and MDS for pipe supports

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation

• Field engineering experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Area Lead (operationally) and Design Unit Head (functionally)

• Develop plot plans and equipment layouts

• Perform piping routing studies for critical systems like compressors, pumps, air-cooled exchangers

• Establish and model pipe rack configurations

• Model equipment and piping systems in 3D (SP3D/E3D)

• Perform routing of minor lines and model updates/modifications

• Execute quality checks: RDB validation, clash checks, etc.

• Extract isometrics and GA drawings from 3D models

• Produce piping-related drawings (details, isometrics) and MTOs

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary designers and engineers

• Report work progress and contribute to planning

• Review and comment on vendor drawings
