On Offer We are currently seeking a Senior Sous Chef to support our client's award-winning Executive Chef and their kitchen team located in St Andrews. The ideal candidate will bring a background in 2, 3 AA Rosette kitchens or above and have a genuine passion for the finer culinary elements of food. Competitive salary of £55k+ is available plus tronc dividends and bonus potential Stable working hours averaging 40 hours per week over the year A professional, supportive environment focused on employee well-being
The Role Assist the Executive Chef and his team in daily kitchen operations Lead and support junior team members during service Ensure consistently high standards in food preparation and presentation Contribute to menu development using seasonal, local ingredients and the latest trends Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety in all kitchen areas Take charge of the pass at all times when on shift
The Person Experience working in 2, 3 AA Rosette kitchens or above (required) Strong all-around cooking skills; pastry experience is a plus Ability to lead any given section and supervise junior staff at all times Positive, professional attitude and strong team ethic Must be eligible to work in the UK
