What You’ll Be Doing as an English ECT:

• Teaching English across Key Stages 3–5, inspiring students to achieve their potential
• Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons that build literacy and confidence
• Encouraging a love of language and literature in every student
• Supporting all learners, from those needing intervention to high-achievers
• Monitoring progress and providing personalised feedback

English ECT - What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT qualifying by Summer 2025
• A degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject
• A genuine passion for teaching and fostering a love for language
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to plan engaging lessons
• Clear communication and excellent classroom presence
• Creativity and flexibility to support a wide range of learners
