Staffline is recruiting for a HR Administrator to work in Kings Lynn.

The rate of pay is £12.50 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed day shifts, Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:

- 8.30am to 4.30pm

Your Time at Work


As a HR Administrator your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the site has an established headcount in place by department/shift.
- Support the recruitment and retention of weekly paid employees ensuring the central recruitment processes are adhered to.
- Actively monitor overtime and flag where necessary against ethical standards.
- Benchmark local pay rates and benefits escalating recruitment and retention issues impacted by external trends or role changes
- Ensure the site's adherence to company policies and procedures including attendance at disciplinary/grievance/capability meetings with Line Managers.
- Advise and support the Site Management team in the delivery of all aspects of company initiatives relating to site employees including employee reward recognition
- Produce terms and conditions of employment and other associated information for prospective weekly paid employees. Ensure all legal and or good practice documents are recorded and filed for all employees and documented on the company information system as required.
- Work with site management team to ensure that all reviews for weekly paid employees are conducted. Support and coach Line managers as required to facilitate completion.
- Support the Training Manager with administrative tasks and other L&D initiatives including company induction, movement to work, work experience, apprenticeships, graduates and engage and influencing site Management team to participate.
- Maintain resource link with all employee information ensuring it always accurately recorded, utilised for KPI reports
- Maintain, update and monitor Open options time and attendance system, utilising for site attendance management, KPI reports and WTR compliance
- Update and maintain weekly paid manpower plan to ensure they accurately reflect the headcount. - Maintain up to date personnel records to ensure accurate information is available for reporting and auditing purposes, liaising with the Technical / QA Department where necessary to maintain our BRC/EFSIS (total quality) higher accreditation status and other audits such as SEDEX
- Provide essential management information / KPI's for site in a timely and accurate manner. Identify areas of improvement from this information and agree appropriate action plans.
- Support the HR Manager with customer and ethical audits
- Proactively and enthusiastically drive engagement through generating and communicating site activities and site success as well as implementing and communicating company initiatives and success
- Proactively develop and deliver activities that promote opportunities to raise funds for local and group Charity.
- Support in delivering local community projects and actively drive participation of site management team and employees improving brand awareness through volunteering
- Support the HR Manager in engaging with local schools and colleges to increase brand awareness, development of young people
- Drive employee survey initiatives actively monitoring and encouraging site employee participation - Support Union, Peoples Forum and employee communication to develop and maintain good employee relations
- Work collaboratively to develop a department that is respected by all.
- Ensure that the payroll information is inputted within the set deadlines for weekly paid employees, liaising with new starters or departments to proactively obtain the relevant information required.
- Proactively and enthusiastically promote equipped for life initiatives including best doctors, employee care benefits, stronger together and ensure site provides company initiative including mini mots
- Support the HR Advisor in coordinating the day-to-day management of the Occupational Health provision. Supporting Line Managers with absence management
- To carry out other duties that may reasonably be required as requested by HR Manager

Our ideal HR Administrator would have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload, work under pressure and deliver against tight deadlines
- Have a dynamic and flexible approach
- PC Literate, with excel, word, powerpoint skills
- Recruitment / HR Administration experience
- Experience within manufacturing is preferred but not essential
