MDE are recruiting for a counterbalance forklift driver for a lfamily run logistics company based in Yate, Bristol.

Details for Forklift Driver:

• Monday - Thursday
• 1pm - 9pm Shift
• Must have forklift experience/valid licence (Counterbalance is essential, however Reach is also desired)
• 30 minutes unpaid break a day.

Skills Required for Forklift Driver: 

• Excellent attention to detail
• Must have the ability to communicate positively 
• Be able to work off your own accord, follow direction and work within a team
• Knowledge of health & safety

The role involves picking and relocating pallets within our clients busy warehouse driving a reach truck. It may also involve loading and unloading trailers using our counterbalance forklift trucks, so previous experience and licenses for both reach truck and counterbalance forklifts is desired.

The ideal candidate must have a can do approach and be able to work under pressure, ensuring they are balancing many tasks to get the job done in a time effective manor and remaining safe at all times.

The forklift driver must have the ability to communicate positively with colleagues and managers.

Experience with scanning barcodes is desirable but not essential. 

The candidate must adhere to health and safety instructions and will be expected to understand basic manual handling.
