A multi-office law firm based in North Yorkshire is looking for an agricultural locum to help out starting as soon as you are able for a period of at least 3 months. This is to provide cover while the firm recruit permanently and you will ideally be available on a full-time basis. The role is based at the firm's Malton offices.
 
You will need to be able to process the following :
 
·Advising landlords and tenants on the grant/renewal of Farm Business Tenancies, Agricultural Holdings Act Tenancies and Grazing Licences.
·Advising sellers and purchasers in relation to the purchase disposal of agricultural properties and/or businesses.
·Separate representation for lenders in relation to establishing security for funding requests.
·Advising clients in a range of development agreements, such as option agreements, easements and clawback agreements.
·Any ad hoc and ancillary matter relating to agricultural property.
·Raising appropriate enquiries and considering documentation.
·Drafting correspondence and documentation.
·Dealing with agents, solicitors, clients and other individuals in the transaction in an appropriate manner.
