About the Role

An established metal fabrication business based in Kidderminster is looking for a skilled TIG Welder with experience in aluminium welding (1mm to 5mm) and setting and operating Amada press brake machines. This is a permanent, full-time day-shift position, ideal for someone with precision welding and fabrication skills who takes pride in quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out TIG welding on aluminium components (1mm–5mm thick) to a high standard
• Set up and operate Amada press brake machines for accurate metal forming
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication diagrams
• Inspect welds and formed parts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on welding and press brake equipment
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with site health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience in TIG welding aluminium (1mm to 5mm thickness)
• Skilled in setting and operating Amada press brake machines
• Ability to read and understand technical and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good work ethic, punctual and reliable
• Own transport preferred due to location

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Day Shift (exact start/finish times confirmed at interview)

Pay:

• £16.50 per hour
• Overtime may be available depending on workload
