Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Location: Coventry
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (D.O.E)

We are a dynamic and growing company based in Coventry, committed to excellence and dedicated to supporting our employees. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to join our team and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees

• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations

• Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime

• Liaise with HR and Finance departments regarding payroll queries

• Prepare and submit reports to management and statutory bodies as required

• Assist with month-end and year-end payroll activities

• Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in payroll processing or clerical role preferred

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Good knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Excel

• Basic understanding of payroll legislation and tax regulations

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
