Job Description – English Teacher

English Teacher - What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering creative, challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3–5
• Inspiring students to enjoy and excel in language and literature
• Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assessing progress and delivering personalised feedback
• Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver an effective curriculum
• Encouraging students to pursue further study and careers in English

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified English teacher with QTS (or due to qualify by Summer 2025)
• A degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject
• A strong classroom presence and excellent subject knowledge
• A commitment to helping students achieve their best
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude
• ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply – tailored induction and mentoring available
