Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Assistant

Salary: £12.83 - £13.50 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-established and popular local authority maintained day nursery based in Arnold, Nottingham.

The school is looking to take on a part-time Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant for a long-term period who is enthusiastic about working with children. The successful applicant will help children to learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing and story telling as well as record children's development and share with parents, carers and other staff.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 in Childcare (required)
• Previous experience supporting children in a nursery
• First Aid Qualification (preferred)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• An awareness of child protection and safeguarding
• A kind and caring approach to each child
• An understanding of the EYFS
