Job Title - Coatings Inspector

Salary - Negotiable

Type - Permanent, full time

Locations - Various

My client is looking to speak with coatings inspectors that are coming from any onshore/offshore experience and hold valid tickets to join their team and work in various highly regulated sectors.

Essential experience:

• Onshore experience producing work packs and carrying out work prep review.
• Knowledge of all common and new Fabric Maintenance methods used to execute work offshore.
• Ability to read and interpret commonly used engineering drawings and data sets used in support of inspection activities, e.g. piping isometrics, vessel general arrangements, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams, piping schedules.
• Knowledge of the uses and limitations of commonly applied non-destructive examination techniques applied in support, e.g. MPI, DPI, UT measurement, Rad techniques.
• Working knowledge of the use and limitations of specialist NDE techniques applied in support of above water inspection and monitoring programmes, e.g. pulsed eddy current, thermography, time of flight diffraction, CHIME, etc.

Requirements

• ICORR or NACE Level 1 or Above
• APM PFQ Or Equivalent (DESIRED)
• Auditor Training (DESIRED)
• SAP Maximo Training (DESIRED)
• Nuclear/offshore/pharma/oil + gas/Petro-chem experience
