Brightwork are recruiting for an Events Floor Manager to join the team at Johnnie Walker Princess Street, the eight-floor visitor experience for the world's best-selling Scotch whisky.

The Events Floor Manager will be one of Diageo's hospitality experts and will support the senior Events & Food and Beverage Management team with providing strong leadership and direction across the venue.

You will manage the day-to-day operations of the departments in line with event function sheets, ensuring the teams are fully briefed before each shift and assisting with training and staff development.

This is a hands-on role which will include serving and interacting with guests so excellent interpersonal and service skills are required.

Your Time at Work
- Responsible for managing all aspects of event delivery in line with planning sheets, acting as
onsite manager to ensure events and food and beverage operations are delivered effectively,
safely and professionally
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards of professional service
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to and followed at all times
- Understand and comply with all alcohol licensing laws across all event and F&B operations
whilst promoting Diageo's responsible drinking program.
- You will liase with a third party caterer to coordinate food for events
- Feeding back to senior managers all positive or negative feedback from guests
- Assist with staff training and develop a 'learning culture' within the team

Our Perfect Worker
- Minimum of three years management experience within a hospitality environment
- Experience of working within a high-end or five-star establishment, with a proven ability to
deliver exceptional customer service.
- Great organisation and communication skills to convey clear messages and instructions.
- Administration skills, the ability to operate digital software systems and EPOS systems.
- A second language would be desirable.
- Be guided by a customer-first mindset; ability to understand and interpret consumer insights
- Flexible to work between the hours 7am - midnight over 7 days per week depending on Event
times.

Key Information and Benefits
Temporary ongoing role for 12 months, rate of pay £15.18 per hour
