The Role: Senior Maintenance Manager

I am delighted to be working with this growing hospitality and property group to find them an experienced Senior Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance and facilities function. The Senior maintenance manager will work across a diverse estate of venues and residential sites. Reporting to senior operations leadership, you’ll ensure every property is safe, compliant, and performing at its best — balancing strategic oversight with a hands-on, practical approach.

We are looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in and can also really impact the efficiency of function, establishing PPMs, ensuring contractors are performing and build strong collaborative relationships with operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and facilities operations across multiple commercial and residential sites.
• Lead and support a small maintenance team, working closely with site and head office management.
• Manage contractors, budgets, and project delivery from reactive works to capital improvements.
• Maintain compliance across all H&S areas including fire, gas, electrical, and water hygiene.
• Deliver robust PPM schedules and ensure consistent presentation standards across all sites.
• Provide hands-on support for urgent repairs, inspections, and new site openings.

Experience

• 5+ years in a senior maintenance or facilities management role, ideally within hospitality or multi-site property.
• Strong technical knowledge and compliance understanding.
• Confident managing multiple contractors, budgets, and timelines.
• Practical, reliable, and proactive, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Prepared to support occasional out-of-hours requirements.
