About the Role: Graduate Learning Support Assistant

  • Location: Highly regarded primary school in north Liverpool, just 10 minutes from the city centre with excellent transport connections

  • Duration: Full-time, term-time role beginning September 2025

  • Pay: Up to £530 per week

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, term-time only (32.5 hours per week)

  • Ideal for: Graduates with a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, or a related subject

  • Perfect for: Aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists, or those looking to specialise in SEN

In this role, you’ll provide tailored academic and emotional support for pupils who require additional help, working both on a 1-to-1 basis and with small groups. You’ll collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure every child has the chance to thrive in a supportive, inclusive classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and small group support to pupils with additional needs

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, curriculum-based learning

  • Foster pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

  • Use creative and adaptive strategies to maintain engagement in lessons and activities

  • Work closely with staff and external specialists, including SENCOs and educational psychologists

What We’re Looking For

  • A graduate with at least a 2:1 in Psychology, Education, or a related subject

  • Passion for supporting children’s education and wellbeing

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and initiative

  • A genuine interest in SEN, behaviour support, or child development
