Key Responsibilities - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
  • Assist the class teacher and SENCO in delivering tailored interventions
  • Adapt lesson materials to meet individual learning needs and styles
  • Track pupil progress and report observations to teaching staff
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

What We’re Looking For Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

  • A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (2:1 or above preferred)
  • A genuine interest in working with children with additional needs
  • Experience supporting young people (e.g., mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient attitude
  • A proactive, resilient, and collaborative mindset
