Are you an experienced Engineer with a passion for industrial maintenance and fault finding? We're looking for a dedicated Crane Engineer – Electrical to join our growing team, focusing on the servicing, maintenance, and repair of Electric Overhead Travelling (EOT) Cranes and JIB Cranes across a range of industrial sites.

About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of lifting equipment at client facilities. Working primarily with EOT and JIB Cranes, your daily tasks will include:

• Carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance on cranes and lifting equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and breakdowns
• Performing load testing, inspections, and safety checks in accordance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
• Supporting emergency call-outs and providing technical advice on-site
• Documenting service reports and communicating findings with clients and internal teams

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience servicing and repairing EOT and JIB cranes
Strong understanding of electrical systems and control panels
Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
Familiarity with safety legislation and standards relating to lifting equipment
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills

• LEEA or other crane-related certifications
• Experience with crane control systems (e.g., pendant, radio remote, variable frequency drives)
