We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a team, specialising in the fabrication of heat-resistant ducting for industrial and commercial applications.

This is a workshop-based role involving the use of CNC cutting machines and press brake equipment, with a focus on precision and high-temperature metalwork. You'll be working with materials such as stainless steel and other heat-tolerant alloys.

🔩 Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate bespoke heat-resistant ducting and components to technical drawings
• Operate CNC machines and press brakes for cutting and forming sheet metal
• Work with high-grade materials (e.g. stainless steel, aluminised steel, Inconel)
• Carry out assembly, and finishing of ducting systems
• Ensure all work meets required safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and project requirements

🛠️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator, ideally with heat-resistant ducting or industrial HVAC
• Proficient in CNC machine operation and press brake forming preferred, semi-skilled welcome!
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
• Experience working with stainless steel and similar alloys
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
• Relevant trade qualifications or time-served apprenticeship desirable
