This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate to support students aged 11–16 and make a real difference in their academic development.

The Opportunity – Graduate English Teaching Assistant:

• Start Date: September
• Full-time, term-time only (Monday to Friday)
• Based in Leicester, with excellent transport links
• Earn up to £540 per week (depending on experience)
• Support pupils in English Language and Literature lessons
• Assist teachers with reading groups, literacy interventions, and lesson preparation
• Gain valuable classroom experience ahead of a PGCE or other teacher training route

We’re Looking For – Graduate English Teaching Assistant:

• A graduate with a 2:1 or above in an English-related degree (English Literature, Language, Creative Writing, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine interest in education and supporting secondary-aged pupils
• Confidence, enthusiasm, and the ability to build rapport with young people
• An interest in supporting students of varying abilities, including those with SEND
