Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our clients healthcare team at Newcastle. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and support to residents, visitors, and staff within our healthcare facility. This is a permanent placement.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide nursing care to patients/residents in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.
2. Assess patient health needs and develop individualized care plans.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Monitor patient condition and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
5. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
8. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration and licensure in the United Kingdom.
2. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered General Nurse, preferably in a healthcare setting.
3. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team.
6. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
7. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
8. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications preferred.
