Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

• Full-time, long term position starting from September
• Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours per week during term-time only
• Earn up to £540 per week as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
• Schools located in central Liverpool and surrounding areas
• Graduates with a 2:1 degree or higher welcome to apply
• Degrees in Education, Psychology or core subjects desirable

Our schools are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals who can combine strong subject knowledge with the ability to support children within their cohort that require essential support throughout the school year.

Due to start in September, this Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role will be full-time during term-time only, Monday-Friday each week. Graduates with a 2:1 or above in an education, psychology, core subject or related degree are wanted – this is a great opportunity to utilise knowledge developed throughout your studies and combine this with practical experience in the classroom – setting you up for an exciting career within the education sector.

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other teaching assistants to implement strategies that will help support pupils requiring additional support for a variety of reasons. As well as general Teaching Assistant work, you will be expected to work in 1:1 and small group settings with pupils to ensure that progress is made. You will be tasked with providing academic and social support to pupils, giving them the best possible opportunity to overcome barriers to learning and opportunity.
