Graduate English Teaching Assistant

• Full-time, long-term position starting from September 2025
• Earn up to £550 per week as a Graduate English Teaching Assistant
• Exciting secondary schools located in Liverpool – several locations available
• Support students in 1-1 or small group settings that are struggling to reach targets
• Applicants should hold a 2:1 or above in an English-related degree
• Excellent grasp of English Language and Literature is essential
• Previous experiece preffered but not essential
• Work closely with experienced education practitioners and learn from the best

KPI Education are currently working closely with a number of secondary schools that are well-respected in the city – with excellent exam results at GCSE and A Level year-on-year. The schools are looking to continue the upward trajectory by increasing support opportunities for their students by bringing in Graduate English Teaching Assistants from September.

As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, your role is to support students academically that may be struggling to grasp English as a subject – this may be due to a variety of reasons, and you will need to have an empathetic and positive mindset to help them achieve their goals. You will also have the opportunity to work with excelling students who are targeting places at top universities, acting as a role model and using your experience to support them through this process.

The schools are looking for highly-academic English graduates that have excelled during their studies. A strong understanding of English Language and Literature is essential, as you will be required to work in 1-1 scenarios with students with little guidance at times. This role is perfect for a recent graduate that has a genuine passion to pursue a career within the education sector in years to come.

Some schools will offer teacher training opportunities in-house from 2026 for excelling candidates that show exceptional performance, so the opportunity for progression is there to see.
