Position: Workshop Fabrication/Machining Supervisor

Interview Details:

Face-to-face interviews will be held in Istanbul during the second week of May.

Role Overview:
Supervise workshop fabrication activities and the fabrication and welding maintenance team to execute all tasks supporting Company facilities onshore & offshore, onsite, and offsite, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, integrity, and reliability to achieve optimal operating reliability targets.

Key Job Accountabilities:

1. Supervise welding and fabrication activities in the Fabrication Workshop, ensuring optimum utilization of resources to guarantee safety and effective execution of fabrication and welding activities for the division.
2. Ensure welding and fabrication activities are executed in accordance with international standards & codes, as per WPS, and the company’s standards & specifications.
3. Ensure welding consumables are used and stored in compliance with company standards and specifications.
4. Track fabrication & welding activities to ensure they align with the biweekly schedule.
5. Coordinate welding & fabrication activities during normal operations and shutdowns, ensuring quality and safety of execution.
6. Oversee the maintenance and testing of fabrication equipment and welding machines to meet company standards and inspection requirements.
7. Ensure welding gas cylinders are stored and used according to company standards and specifications.
8. Provide effective toolbox talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all activities to promote safe working conditions.
9. Ensure fabrication materials are used efficiently, and that any unused materials are returned to the warehouse with the necessary documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry or petrochemical industry in the fabrication or welding field.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of welding codes.
