CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting our Portland, Dorset based client who, due to growth within the team, are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

• Sales ledger and credit control
• Purchase ledger
• Query resolution;
• Bank reconciliations;
• VAT Reconciliations 
• Prepare journals and supporting with month end tasks;
• Ad hoc duties.

Suitable Candidate:

• Good knowledge of transactional accounts including purchase and sales ledger;
• AAT or similar qualification would be advantageous or qualified by experience;
• Confident systems and Excel user;
• Good communication skills both written and verbal across, happy to interact across all levels of the business.

Additional benefits and information:

• As accounts assistant you will receive salary of £24,000-£28,000 depending on experience;
• 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays;
