RMS Recruitment are working with a client based in Peterlee and have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Manager to join their team.

This is a permanent, office-based position and will be working Monday to Thursday 8AM until 4:30PM and Friday 8AM until 3:30PM. The are offering a salary of £34 - £38k per annum, depending on experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide HR advice to management regarding all HR queries, including support on sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance management and recruitment.
• Coordinating the recruitment process including on-boarding. Working with hiring managers to understand their requirements, liaising with recruiters and candidates.
• Absence management, supporting employees with sickness / longer term absences. Liaising with occupational health when required.
• Maintaining and creating HR Policies and Procedures to ensure they are up to date and compliant with current employment legislation.
• Maintaining and updating HR information systems and ensuring accurate and timely recording of all staff information.
• Prepare and provide monthly HR reports.
• Oversee the day to day duties of the HR & Payroll Administrator.

As an ideal candidate, you should have:

• CIPD Level 5 Qualified
• Proven work experience in a HR Leader or similar role
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing desirable)
• Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff.
• Employee relations knowledge and experience is essential.
• Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business.
• Practical and logical, good judgement and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
