Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 5/6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on an exciting new locum opportunity based in Wythenshawe.

Location: Bronte Ward (mixed gender acute ward), Laureate House, Manchester.

Contract Type: Locum, ongoing block booking.

Pay Rates: £25 - £41 per hour (assignment rate):

• Days: £25 - £26 per hour
• Nights/Saturdays: £33 - £34 per hour
• Sundays/Bank Holidays: £40 - £41 per hour

Main Duties:

The Trust has 10 adult inpatient wards at Wythenshawe Hospital (Laureate House), where inpatients include those who have been detained under the Mental Health Act and other voluntary 'informal' patients. You will:

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Specialise in caring for adults of working age.
• Offer assessment and treatment for a wide range of mental health needs.
• Emphasise holistic, individualised care, which is planned and delivered in collaboration with each service user, working towards successful discharge whilst maintaining a person's sense of dignity, privacy and respecting individuality at all times.
• Work closely with community teams to ensure a seamless admission and discharge, enabling each person to return to their optimum health.
• Work to reduce anxiety about admission, providing a supportive environment where an individual can feel safe and have appropriate quality nursing and medical interventions.

Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:

• Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
• Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
• Valid NMC Registration
